Tracing its history back to 909AD, Wells Cathedral School one of the oldest schools in the world! Over 1,100 years later, the school has a unique status as an all-round school providing academic and co-curricular excellence, with a music specialist school embedded within it.

All of the boarding houses at Wells are beautiful medieval and 18th century buildings with lovely British gardens, stimulating communal areas and cosy rooms, in which each student has their own space. Whilst each of the houses is gifted with quirky and unique qualities befitting historic houses, they also have all the modern conveniences a boarder would expect – including Wi-Fi!

Our famous overnight trip to London

Simply one of the most famous and iconic cities in the world. Going to London and visiting Buckingham Palace, Horse guards, Downing Street and Big Ben would be enough, but as part of this excursion take in the breath-taking views from the top of the London Eye, then hop on an open top boat to travel down the Thames with a real cockney tour guide.

Bath

Bath is home to some of the best-preserved Roman ruins in the UK, including the Roman Baths, which date back to the first century AD. Visiting these sites provides an opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of the Roman occupation of Britain.

Bath is a fantastic destination for shopping, with a wide range of independent boutiques, high-street shops, and market stalls. Whether you're after unique gifts, fashionable clothing, or delicious food, you'll find it all in Bath.

Water Sports

The Cotswold Country Park and Beach is set in over 40 acres of stunning countryside. The park offers a range of water sports activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and canoeing. The park also features a man-made beach area where you can sunbathe, swim, and play games like volleyball and frisbee. The highlight of this excursion is the inflatable assault course.
